Busy and exhausting day with sightseeing to The Shell, Governors Mansion, Bishop Museum other site inspections at potential event space for both large and small groups.
08:30 am Had breakfast at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. 09:30 am City tour with lunch at Gordon Biersch which was unbelievably good and better than the SF restaurant and I wondered why that could possibly be.....only then it was revealed that their catering division prepared our lunch! It was outstanding. The food kept flowing, in fact we had to ask them to stop - enough was enough...we all had far to much to eat and it's hard to face the fact the we have to go to the HanoHano Room atop the Sheraton for a reception and dinner at 5:30pm!
Twist at The Hanohano Room website: http://www.sheraton-waikiki.com/de_hano.htm
After lunch we went on a site inspection to the Princess Kaiulani Hotel http://www.princess-kaiulani.com/and then for an overview of the progress on renovations under way at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel (The Pink Palace). The RH will re-open next January.
Weather is spectacular again with clear skies and temperatures in the 80's
Some photographs of the day - most pictures are of the ADA staff members and members of the ADA Exhibitor Committee that elected to take this trip.
