Day 1 - San Francisco to Santa Ana Airport (Orange County)

Off and running....Sally took me to the airport this afternoon for my flight to Santa Ana. Flight was United 6582 flying on a Canadair Commuter Jet CR7...53 minutes of flight time from wheels up to wheels down. Assisted by a good tailwind down the coast of California. Route of flight was down the coast over Monterey, Big Sur, Vandenburg Air Force Base, over the Channel Islands, south of Long Beach and into Santa Ana. Smooth flight, quick and tolerable. On arrival took a cab to the Hilton Anaheim, had two gin and tonics and a fish taco and that's that for today. I took pictures while flying down the coast but I can't figure out how to add the pictures to this blog with my I-Pad. I'll figure something out but for now it's just narrative.
