Took a cab from JFK to Manhatten and checked into the Marriott Marquis Hotel. Our room is on the 41st Floor with a stunning view of Times Square. Short turn around time and we then departed for dinner at the Spice Market in the old meat packing area of town. We took the subway (of course) to 14th and 8th Avenue and walked to the restaurant.
Our order consisted of:
One sparkling water and one still water
Wine: Reisling
Spiced Chicken Samosas Cilantro Yoghurt
Lobster Roll with dill and Sriracha
Shaved Tuna, Chile Tapioca, Asian Pear and Lime
Salad- Crab Fritters. Sweet Chile Sauce
Crispy Salt and Pepper Skate
Halibut Cha Ca La Vong with Herb salad
Finishing off with Ceylon Cinnamon Creme Brulee with roasted Black Mission Figs.
Waddled out the restaurant and came back to Times Square via the subway.
